How can one not grant an extension of the 911 investigation....

...and claim to be concerned about national security???

The 911 is a top priority in finding out we can better protect ourselves.

This is more of the same from an outright two-faced president.

1. How could Nixon try to forestall the watergate investigation?
I believe the answer is one and the same.

3. What's more important
a complete 9-11 investigation or Dubya's* reselection?

Bush and Haster said no to an extension.......it interfers with the Nov. elections...

6. LOL Oh yes, an investigation would definitely interfere with the election

no argument here.

4. I think most voters agree with "evildoers who hate freedom" and see no

need to peer too closely into the 9-11 events.

To advocate such a thing would be far outside the comfort level of the majority of the affluent class, and carries the whiff of a suggesion that they do not trust the commander in chief during this very different kind of war.

5. Great answer - I agree. You put that very well...
Great pic, by the way. There was a very good documentary about King on last night. I was spellbound. Never had seen his story told that way. What an absolutely eloquent and thoughtful guy. And as brave as they come.

9. The investigation is making the White House feel insecure
therefore, limiting the investigation increases security!
