C-Span this a.m. - What's the deal with Tamara Lipper
On Washington Journal, there were two reporters discussing Bush's upcoming SOTU address -- a fairly rational man from I think, U.S. News & World Report, and a young, female reporter who sounded like Bush's p.r. agent. Her name was Tamara Lipper, writes for Newsweek - often in co-bylined articles with Howard Fineman, of all people.
Anyone else see her? She was shockingly pro-Bush -- even more so than 90 percent of the media personalities we're typically subjected to.

2. Welch is from USA Today... and Lipper
sure had some big freakin lips! I think she had a botox injection too close to airtime. Yes she certainly had the reich wing talking points down. I didn't know she had a bi-line with fineman, that explains a lot...

6. Ditto. I thought the same thing. Saw "White House" on the screen
and assumed it was a Bush PR person. Only when I got close to the screen did I realize that she was from Newsweek. But then what's the difference?

7. She is of the new generation....
suckled at the teat of Rush Limbaugh and right-wing propaganda. She cannot hide her completed brainwashing and has no idea that there even is another side to the story.
