Football Fans: Don't forget to BOYCOTT COORS
The proceeds from the sale of Coors beer puts money directly into the pocket of right wing activists. The owner of Coors funds "The Heritage Foundation" (Right wing hate group) with the profits from the sale of Coors beer. DO NOT contribute to the right wing!
There is a lot of beer sold this time of year, and this is an ideal time to BOYCOTT COORS.

1. I have absolutely no problem with that
Haven't bought Coors since high school. I wish a list would be compiled of left-friendly companies out there (if they do exist at all).

6. Left-friendly companies
Considering that all viable companies must make a profit, and the only way to do so is to exploit labor in some manner, I would say that it is impossible for any company to be "left-friendly" -- even if they give money to Planned Parenthood or NOW or other such groups.

9. That's kind of a hardcore stance
I think offering a high quality product, and excellent service is the key to a profitable business. You can treat your employees well, and still be profitable. (unless you're trying to compete with Walmart, that is)

11. ..
This rather depends on your definition of the word "exploit".

24. Exploitation
Exploitation means that whereas the owners of a company, who make the profits and decide what is produced, generally aren't the ones who do the actual production labor (except, of course, in fabled "mom 'n' pop shops"). In order to make a profit, they have to hire people and pay them an amount that is less than the value of what they produce. Exploitation thus occurs.

4. Coors was a pretty good domestic beer...
when it was not available east of the Mississippi. Their support of the radical right goes back to funding Iran/Contra. That's how long it's been on my boycott list.

8. Another reason to boycott Coors is
the company is Colorado's biggest polluter, so I hear from my sons who live in Boulder, which is not far from Golden where the Coors brewery is located.

10. Coors blows
I'd rather drink Schlitz!!! At least you know what you are getting: piss water!

Is it just me, or is most American beer crap? Possible exception: Icehouse. And damn is it strong! First time I ever had it, it knocked me on my ass! Maybe my taste buds are on crack, but it reminds me alot of Guiness (I hop I speled that rite!) which is why it's still on my good list.

I still prefer an IV drip bag of moonshine and Oxycontin! Eat your heart out Mr. Limpnoodle!

16. I know people who worked at Coors and swear that
there was such a justifiably bad attitude toward management there that "piss-water" is a literal description of some of the product. I quit drinking Coors forever then.

22. or...
...brew yer own! Oh boy, not me! I flunked Chemistry!!! Seriously, my first F! And ya know, my teacher was one of the few in high school who really DID suck! The rest, for the most part, underpayed poor folks, did a BANG UP job.

AGAIN, THANKS JEB AND BOB MARTINEZ! THANKS FOR NOT FUNDING PUBLIC SCHOOLS! It's a wonder ANYONE in this state can actually READ, thanks to those two dickheads!

Connected to the KKK and militia groups.

"The Coors Foundation also financed the John Birch Society, and in 1973 created the Heritage Foundation. In 1978, the Coors Brewery broke its local of the Brewery, Bottling, Can and Allied Industrial Union, and in 1983, William Coors told a largely African American audience that "one of the best things they ever did for you is to drag your ancestors over here in chains."

17. I don't do hard drugs like alcohol
I'll stick to my doobies.

I've been boycotting alcohol for a long time since they spend money lobbying for harsher penalties for using other drugs.

23. no worries
It is not available, plus i'd rather have tennent on tap... newcastle brown by the bottle.

Coors is piss. If you drive by the "brewery" in Golden, it looks more like a refinery than a food producer... and the town of golden is a shithole with its stinking employer... no suprise there.

I had a job and a flat in golden for a while long ago, and it was the best thing in my life to get the hell out of there.
