Will this be the first election determined by Generation-X voters ?
At just about every Dean or Kerry function, one notices that there are many younger volunteers in the audience. We know that Dean has been very successful with his Internet organizing and fundraising. Much of this appears to be coming from younger voters that have never been involved in politics before. This does not bode well for the political establishment of either Party.

Up to this point, it has been very predictable as to what the vote count would be in any election. The voter rolls could be gotten at any local County Court clerk's office and chances are, that the people that voted in the last few elections would be the same people that would vote in the next election. Very predictable.

However, with the new voters thrown into the mix, it is totally unpredictable. It could actually upset some of the re-districting plans that have been drawn up to guarantee House districts for one Party or the other. If these Generation-X'ers become as involved as they appear to be, look out!

3. What do we call the generation after the X'ers??
I think those are the ones in play and I think they are going to be very political. I know some young people that are 18-19 years old and they are wise beyond their years. I think they may surprise people with their involvement.
