Will Democrats Have Another Person on the Ballot in California?
Will Democrats have another person on the ballot in California? The deadline is August 9, so they have to decide within the next two or so weeks. How could they do this and not have it seem like a withdrawal of support from Davis?
and not necessarily one we would expect. It could be a little known state legislator who figures on August 8th, hmm, this might be my chance to become Governor of California--with five Repukes running and one listed Dem he/she could pull it off.
What would be nice about Feinstein running, though, is that she would be able to pick her Senate replacement. And what better way to court the minority vote than pick a Hispanic person like Loretta Sanchez?
