Tom DeLay wants to give me a "Leadership Award"
Or at least that's what the telemarketer or staffer working on his behalf told me when he called me at work this afternoon. Once he said that he was calling on DeLay's behalf, and I told him I was sorry to hear that (Followed by an uncomfortable silence on his part) the (probable) fundraising effort was dead on arrival. Now to find out who the A$$hole is that got me onto a GOP mailing list, I'll post the guy's name and number tomorrow, when I dig it out of my wastebasket. Maybe we should all call and ask for one.....

1. Phone call from Repug
I got a call for "the Republican of the house" recently. (Probably about the CA recall.) Unfortunately, the recorder cut him off before I could say, "There is no Republican in this house, and there won't be WHILE THAT GANG OF MURDEROUS THUGS IS IN THE WHITEHOUSE."

I keep waiting for him to call back. :)
