"I've heard a lot of good things about Costa Rica. The bad news is that from what I understand, it is very expensive to live there. Since I'm not a multi-millionaire I'm afraid that country is not a good prospect.

But the long term visa might be a problem, what is country of your origin? (some countries grant the status to the descendents of emigrants).
