1. A sad commentary that one soldier was quoted as saying:

When he found out, the young American lieutenant was devastated. He shook his head and said, "I hope I am not responsible for Armageddon."

As my hubby said, this kinda reminds us of a fictional character from the TV Show MASH, where Frank Burns blamed a young soldier working in the hospital for causing the death of an injured troop - KINDA LIKE RUDY BLAMING THE TROOPS!

How sad that our young people will come home with thoughts of that on their minds besides everything else that is heaped upon them!
