Tricycle Magazine
The Buddhist Quarterly, Tricycle, has devoted the
current issue to Buddhist Practice & Politics.
Some interesting perspectives and sage advice for
those of us who struggle with imitating our enemies
by hating them back. I especially loved the
unabashed partisanship of long-time meditation
teacher and journalist, Wes Nisker (If you don't
like the news, go out and makes some of your own).

1. I like Tricycle
I'm not a Buddhist, but I love reading about philosophy and spirituality, so I often pick it up. I'll definitely be on the lookout for this latest issue - sounds great. Thanks!

2. The great thing about being a Buddhist...
is that if you say "I am a Buddhist", you're not.
The other great thing is that I have NEVER met
a Republican Buddhist. Something I can't say
about any other religious afiliation incl Atheists.
I tried to reply earlier but our power went down
in Foster City, CA. Bush's America looks more like
a Banana Republic every day. B-)

3. Thank you!
I'm not a Buddhist, either, but also enjoy reading philosophical and spiritual works... and I'd never heard of Tricycle before.

What a great "find" this is!

:D
