Things are worse than you may think
Make no mistake: This is not about liberals vs. conservatives — or Republicans vs. Democrats; it’s about what is right and what is wrong. The legislation and policies of the governor and legislative leadership are wrong.

It’s about shouting a warning to Floridians that their elected leaders are selling them down the river, saying one thing, but doing another.

In my 16 years in the Florida House, state Senate and Public Service Commission, I have tried to inform people about what was going on in their government and provided the inside scoop that political leaders did not want you to know about. I have been warning for years, and providing examples of our representative government/democracy being sold to the highest contributors, the slush funds, the corruption — that it really is about money

7. They don't exist anymore. Heck she doesn't even hold an office anymore.
And she isn't planning on running for any office, as far as I can tell. Not, as a Republican, at least.

8. The FDP was trying to dump a congressional candidate last year.
And place her on the ballot in his place.

The candidate refused an offer and got a little over 30% of the vote.

5. I'm with you Tony.
But "they" wouldn't be in power if it wasn't for their ability to infiltrate communities in the most innocuous of ways. Not until you can help people see how they're being used to create this great dismantling of our society, will it stop. Nobody wants to be the first to walk away from the trough, or the first to admit that their friend is not really a friend.

6. I agree. I think things are starting to change in Florida as reflected in Rick Scott's 29%
approval rating.

9. The biggest problem is.
The FDP is so incompetent, they could snatch defeat from the jaws of victory easily.

Kinda like this guy.

10. Damn.
I guess there is at least one R with principles. Albeit a formerly elected R... It's not as though the R's tolerate dissent or free thinking or morality...

11. She's from my neck of the woods
and as a moderate has been subjected to great critcism locally. Conservative politicians not worshipped and adored by teabaggers are being systematically drivien from office in this benighted state (ask Charlie Crist about that). As for FLorida Dems, with a few exceptions they are a pretty lame bunch. Not much hope from that quarter.
