The Wire's War on the Drug War
"A new report by the Pew Center shows that 1 of every 100 adults in the U.S. — and 1 in 15 black men over 18 — is currently incarcerated. That's the world's highest rate of imprisonment."

1. No way!
This is the freest country on the planet with the finest health care available. We are NUMBER ONE in every way even though those librul, commie, socialist statistics lie and say we are not.

We are so free that we voluntarily take piss tests to prove we are innocent to our potential employers! Fuck yeah! Piss for freedom!

We are free to ignore that the CIA is a major drug runner and they fund their black-ops with the bucks. We are free to remain blind to the multi-billion dollar industries making money off of every aspect of the drug war and we might even want to turn a big, blind eye to the curative capacities of cannabis when it comes to cancer. Cancer is big, big money you know and the amount of chemicals and crap we freedom lovers allow will assure us of having a high probability of sharing the honor of contracting it and going bankrupt in the process for the love of our country. Shit, why leave anything you have to your kids when you are free to contribute to the wealth people who make our gracious slavery possible?

Why even consider those socialist ideas about the value of hemp as a great resource across-the-board when we know that profit is God and god loves petroleum above all else?

Etc., etc.

The US military is developing software that will let it secretly manipulate social media using fake online personas designed to influence internet conversations and spread pro-American propaganda.

A Californian corporation has been awarded a contract with the US Central Command (Centcom) to develop what is described as an "online persona management service" that will allow one serviceman or woman to control up to 10 separate identities at once.

The contract stipulates each persona must have a convincing background, history and supporting details, and that up to 50 controllers must be able to operate false identities from their workstations "without fear of being discovered by sophisticated adversaries".

2. man, that was a great show
I often find myself thinking about Bunny Colvin's "This drug thing, this ain't police work" speech: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BA5za4VsskM. One of many outstanding moments in an outstanding series.

The land of the free..... Wel at least that is what Im told by many americans....

In reality, it is not that longer.. Its intersting to se, that even country's like China, or Russia who traditionally was country's who have a lot of prisoners, are not even close to what USA have today

Or at least.. USA is nr one in another thing again...

And that's sad, becouse many still buy into the theme america, the land of the free...

But, as many other nations have discovered, you can fight the power, and be free again.. It is never to late to fight to get free again...

But again, things was more easy 20 or 30 year ago, than it is today...
