Sources tell TMZ Carrie's mom was in shock -- instantly turning sheet white as she watched her daughter give herself a hand.

Yeah, actually I kinda did, and kinda do. As a mom myself. I'm all for comeupppance. I'm all for reap-what-you-sow. I guess the humiliation of having to sit and watch that in front of other people is a pretty high karmic price to pay when you have a belief system like that.

I just felt bad about the whole thing. Frankly, I wish li'l miss carrie would just STFU and go away. One thing's sure - she might eventually decide that's what she BETTER do if her pride is important to her. Because this, too, is now gonna follow her forever. Do the crime, do the time, I guess. And I don't have ANY problem with that part of it, either. Shaming is sometimes a good thing. I just felt for the mom, that's all. I tend to go there straight away, reactively, in many cases. The same way I go when I see bad behavior - the first thing I think to myself is - "who the hell raised you??!?!?!"
