That guy from HuffPost towards the end of the clip ..tells it like it really is for Health Care Reform.

I admit...I didn't listen to Obama closely enough. I thought he promised "HEALTH CARE FOR ALL."....

But, as other DU'ers have said to me, "Obama NEVER PROMISED THAT...You just HEARD what you WANTED TO...so SHUT THE FUCK UP and GO WITH THE PROGRAM."

I'm sorry my brain was so befuddled by the Bush Years that I didn't hear what Obama was "really saying."

I did hear "CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN!"..."AMERICAN PEOPLE NEED HEALTH CARE FOR ALL!" and..."If you ELECT ME...I will NOT BACK DOWN AGAINST THE SPECIAL INTERESTS!"

Maybe I'm hearing impared that I heard these words from Obama's mouth as hung on every word of every speech CNN/MSNBC aired throughout the campaign.

BUT....here's the truth of it....Obama is a COMPROMISER...of the WORST SORT.

See what the OBAMA HEALTH CARE BILL will beome..... It's 2/3rds of the way through this clip. It ain't pretty how Pelosi promises "ROBUST PUBLIC OPTION" and then caves.

Harry Reid Caves/Pelosi Caves...and so it's 1/8th of the LOAF for those of us denied insurance, paying so much we can barely survive and those who won't have Health Care until 2012, '14 or 19 depending on the various provisions in the bills.

SO....maybe a Newt Gingrich/Sarah Palin Administration will make sure these provisions of that "old bill" back in '09 will be honored? Are you SMOKING IT?

and it's one step back for every two steps forward we think we gain. It's all a BIG MARKETING CAMPAIGN...designed to deceive...just like the decades from Reagan Onward. It causes the GAG response now...So much lost hope.

but so far, it ain't looking good. the non-stop back and forth in congress and the news just gives me a migraine. I tuned it out months ago. it doesn't help that Obama acts like the black version of John Kerry... 'he was for a strong public option before he was against it.' Obama campaigned on the need for a strong a public option, but now describes it as merely a 'sliver' of the overall healthcare reform, not a central part of it. he seems to be constantly wavering on the issue.

we'll see what happens when the final bill comes out, but again it's not so looking great.

4. I hear ya...was hoping to hold back....but damn...at some point

you just get so frustrated you have to vent..when you see a crash cart. I know that many DU'ers say that this is the way Obama Operates. He holds his cards and waits to see how things play out. Or, he's a Master Chesse Player and we are pawns he's moving around until he gets what he wants.

But, I'm SICK OF BEING GAMED WITH! Had it through Clinton (that I belatedly realized) and now after EIGHT FUCKING YEARS OF HELL...We PEOPLE (the little ones) are SUPPOSED TO PUT UP WITH MORE MANIPULATION? More "Marketing Campaigns" about how to "position the Obama Family Values" when the Unemployment approaches the "Great Depression" levels and Goldman Sachs is the only representative for Finance in the Obama Administration?

Just WHEN...is ENOUGH OF THIS...REALLY ENOUGH? :shrug: Smoke and Mirrors...Marketing Campaigns ...Obama could put a Banner Up of "Economy Rebound Accomplished" and we should all be AWED like with Bush's "Mission Accomplished Banner" on that Aircraft Carrier?

doing a 360 from his campaign position when he was opposed to private health insurance mandates, but after the election he fully supports it. channeling john kerry again. that was a stunning switch and bait, a big one.
