Blue Dog DemRepubs shatter contributions record. biggest contributor? Health Care industry.
Blue Dogs Fill Their Bowls with Cash - Center for Public Integrity

"

"BLue Dog" Democrats are your standard Republican degenerates, not Democrats. Real Democrats should do something about them. They are giving Democrats a bad name, especially among Democrats.__JW

So far this year, the Blue Dog Political Action Committee is on track to shatter all its fundraising records; in fact, the total for the first six months of 2009 — more than $1.1 million — is greater than what was raised in the entire 2003-04 fundraising cycle. Furthermore, according to analysis by the Center for Public Integrity of CQ MoneyLine data, the energy, financial services, and health care industries have accounted for nearly 54 percent of the Blue Dog PAC’s 2009 receipts (up from 45 percent in 2004). These contributions poured in as President Obama and the Democratic Congress have been making a major push to reform health care, develop a new energy policy, and restructure oversight of the banking sector. Clearly, these Dogs are having their day.

1. That is not exactly a positive to a thinking voter. When election time
comes this is going to rise up and bite them. So it will be money vs. honesty in the primaries.

4. If mainstream media did their job, the first question they would ask these guys in any interview
would be "How much did you get from the insurance industry?"

and the follow up question to everything they say should be, "which lobbyist told you to say that?"

and the final question should always be, "What have you personally proposed that would hurt the profits of the health insurance industry and that they have actively opposed?"

5. That reminds me. Is anyone in the Senate trying to strip Max Baucus...
of his committee chairmanship? Do we have to wait until they pass the Non-HCR bill first? Didn't he deliberately ignore Single Payer and then kick the Public Option out the door for his corporate masters?

Shouldn't the progressives be working to get rid of him or at least strip him of his power before he completely destroys health care in America?

That's a lot of questions but I would love to hear YES to all of them except #2.
