ALTERMAN: Cheney chastised President Ronald Reagan for not cutting defense
Vice President Dick Cheney is set to give a speech attacking Sen. Kerry and others for supposedly wanting to cut defense spending in the 1980s. Yet, as David Sirota has found, it was Cheney who verbally chastised President Ronald Reagan for not cutting defense in the 1980s.

the media will cover this as extensively as Kerry's supposed voting record on defense. They will, correct? :eyes:

2. The Bush Cheney 5 year plan
...reduced the personnel of the armed forces by 550,000. Now the Army is too small to defeat any countries larger than Panama.
