200 Uncounted Ballots Suddenly Found - Franken Race

Ramsey County officials say they've found about 200 ballots in the town of Maplewood, which Franken carried, that weren't counted at all up to now due to a machine breakdown, and were just discovered. Franken could conceivably get a net gain of one or two-dozen votes from these ballots. Franken's lead recount lawyer Marc Elias wasn't even aware of this going into the call -- he was informed of it by a local reporter seeking comment.

5. this race is such a nail biter

i'm glad to be watching it from afar. i had as much stress as i could take up to november 4. my greatest fear was that the presidential election would be twisted by the republicans into a repeat of 2000. no wonder i still sigh with relief. pulling for franken big-time, not just because it will bring us closer to the magic number, but because i think he'll make a terrific senator. he's a good man.
