DENVER - Maybe it’s his background teaching constitutional law.

If elected president, Democratic White House hopeful Barack Obama said one of the first things he wants to do is ensure the constitutionality of all the laws and executive orders passed while Republican President George W. Bush has been in office.

Those that don’t pass muster will be overturned, he said.

During a fund-raiser in Denver, Obama — a former constitutional law professor at the University of Chicago Law School — was asked what he hoped to accomplish during his first 100 days in office.

“I would call my attorney general in and review every single executive order issued by George Bush and overturn those laws or executive decisions that I feel violate the constitution,” said Obama

Other goals for his first 100 days: work out a plan to withdraw troops from Iraq; make progress on alternative energy plans and launch legislation to reform the health care system.

10. Obama wasn't in Congress when the PATRIOT act was passed
I'd get the facts straight if I were you.

4. What do you call
voiding all of Bush's Executive Orders in 100 days?

A good start.

5. True, that! What a freaking crime scene of an Oval Office
and sordid state of affairs he will be inheriting. But he is the right man to tackle it. No, he is not there yet, but I continue to pinch myself at the reality of our chosen nominee and his prospects.

7. Hooray! This one statement, defintive as it is, may lure me to work for Obama.
My support had been tepid for him, though firm.

IF he follows up on this, it is a key first step to restoring Old America.

It is also the kind of thing which may drive the Bushies to murder him (God Forbid).

11. I just hope he actually does it and also that he does not try
to assist in covering up whatever Bush might have done that was illegal in office as I will be greatly disappointed in him if he does so.

13. How about *'s law "breaking", Obama?
* and company NEED to be prosecuted for their crimes. If they just let him ride off to his pig farm (at least until he can unload it and move to some wealthy community), the repugs will regain power in a few years and finish the job destroying this country that * really got going.

"If only" Ford hadn't pardoned Nixon; "if only" Ronnie and George Sr had been prosecuted for Iran-contra, among other things; maybe *, Darth, Rummy wouldn't have gotten as bad as they have.
