| A possible way to force Healthcare reform |
|
This may sound brutal and will cause casulaties. But what real reform didnt?
It's very simple: Make it a felony to use the hospital ER without some form of insurance even in an emergency.
It would be a true Republican solution: We could even tout it as the "Final Solution" . No I am not being anti-semitic. But as people begin to die in the streets this would shine a light on the real state of American health care and the fact that republicans don't care about People in general.
We can also take this against the Anti-Abortion crowd. Start campaigning for automatic capital punishment for the woman who has an abortion. It has been my experience that the people that want to make it illegal never think it through, the consequences of making it illegal. When asked they are (unless they are of the Fred Phelps crowd) unable to come up with any answer to the idea of punishment for making it illegal.

| 2. Do you honestly think that |

Americans will really get a single payer healthcare system without something drastic?
I mean all the lobbyists representing the insurance agencies are simply going to get religion and say "Gosh lets give up our lock on the average Citizens wallet and play fair?"
Do you really think Congress will give up their collective kickbacks and do something for us?

| 9. a revolution that overthrows the corporate grip on our political system... |

I guess that's drastic.
A few (or few thousand, or even a few million) poor people--poor criminal people--dying won't change anything.

I have been uninsurable for 20 years through no fault of my own. Insurance companies will not write insurance because I have an illness. I do not enjoy having an illness and I do not enjoy being labeled a nonperson in my own country, undeserving of basic care when I get sicker.
Anybody who thinks denying people ER care is a good plan belongs up against the wall with the insurance executives come the revolution. Your thinking is exactly the same as theirs.

I agree that we are in need of Health care reform, but we wont get it until something terrible happens.
47 Million Americans are without health care.
Right now ER performs as a stopgap health care center.
By removing it we force the govt and the American people to look at the problem, yes people will die, but they are doing that already just unseen, at home.
This way at least they won't die in vain. You are not realizing that we are in a War right now. A class war. The powers that be win as long as the Media doesnt report the true nature of things.
People dieing outside the ER cannot be ignored. Some old lady that dies in her home because she cant afford her medication can be ignored.

Thanks, but I'm not going to be sacrificed to your stupid plan.
Sacrifice yourself first.

That simply makes it a matter of time. No plan of preventative medicine, jumping in an out of ER to address the immediate illnesses. I know exactly what is happening.

on Earth would you advocate killing people for their misfortunes?

However they are dieing anyway, because of their misfortunes. I am simply saying that by doing this we are making sure that Healthcare is honestly looked at in a real way. By denying say 47 million people access to ANY healthcare we are forcing either the powers that be to GIVE us healthcare or face an uprising.
Not to say that people wont die, but like I said before, we are in a Class war, although the majority of Americans dont realize it.
