Spies and Republican Insurgents among Us
Given its sorted history, it amazes me how the true citizens’ of this democratic republic continue to allow the Republican Party to exist on our soil. The attempted coup in 1933 to turn America into a fascist state under Charles Lindbergh (co-conspired by Prescott Bush); The “Red Scare” from the late 1940s through the late 1950s co-sponsored by alcoholic Republican Joseph McCarthy; to the present day policies of Republican insurgents designed to eroded our civil liberties and finally get their fascist state.

I use insurgents because that is what they are! They are fascists that have infiltrated the Republican Party preying on the paranoid logic of certain hapless individuals. During the 70’s the fiscal Republicans called them the “crazies”, we know them as neocons – in any case insurgents.

As in previous dark days of American history under Republican oppression our government is spying on us, however this time it’s personal. They are using Firefighters to spy on American citizens. How ironic they would use the same professionals who lost so many of their brothers during 911 because of Rudy Giuliani having “Sex on the City” and George Bush wanting another Pearl Harbor. So, should we be suspicious of firefighters? I’m certain those involved feel somehow imbued with faith in the future of their country – whatever that might be. They, like many Americans who get their news from the fascist main stream media believe everything they told - so did the people in Germany after the Reichstag fire in 1933.

The election coup of 2001 changed everything for me, not 911. I saw this bunch coming and knew what to expect next. Knowing it would be a criminal enterprise, they continue to exceed my worst thoughts to this day. Weary of our future, I distanced myself from known Republicans and carefully chose new friends. And after the second stolen election, I became even more suspicious of smiling strangers asking questions. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not paranoid or in any way intimidated by the actions or policies of these Republican insurgents. This writing should indicate just the opposite.

I repudiate the “New Order”! That’s what Hitler called it in 1933 and the citizens of Germany went along with it. Today it’s not referred to as the “New Order”, yet, but its meaning is the same: “Big Daddy Bush will protect you if you keep quiet and surrender your civil liberties in return for security.” Of course if you don’t play along you might be anthraxed or they might use the unconstitutional House Bill, 1959, in an attempt to keep you quiet.

What I do worry about is the future of this country! Does any rational individual, one who does NOT believe main stream media, think for one second that this corrupt regime will hand over power next year? I hope I’m wrong, but right now I don’t think so. Justin A Frank, author of “Bush on the Couch” concurred during a recent interview. They will continue to spy on all of us and continue to blackmail elected Democrats (as a result of spying) in order to get them to vote against the peoples best interest. Where will this leave us? Surging oil prices, a continued housing slump, no health care, and a Hoover style recession. What a dark vision I have…

1. Lindberg? Are you confusing Roth's novel with real life plot that tried to recruit Smedley Butler?

3. OT - Did you happen to hear Naomi Wolf's interview with Alex Jones in which
Smedley Butler was named? They were discussing that Prescott Bush was one of those who tried to recruit him. It was a fascinating interview.

15. That was a great interview and wish that more citizens could have
seen. I'm sure there is a transcript on 'Democracy Now' ... Amy Goodman did the interview.

5. Smedley Butler
In 1933, Smedley Butler was recruited and played along with the clique to determine who was involved but later blew the whistle and identified the ringleaders in testimony given to the House Committee on un-American Activities.

Lindberg might be premature although he was a fascist. Thanks for pointing that out, yurbud.

4. I'm horrified that the House version passed so resoundingly. This is one of those
resolutions that I think will be a no-brainer and will be defeated, then I'm blown away when it passes (Kyl-Lieberman was another).

I've heard the vote in the Senate is nigh, so we need to keep letting our Senators know our feelings (or in my case since my sens are Dole and Burr and I've no doubt my pleas fell on deaf ears -- all the Sens running for President.) We need them to know wer'e watching.

6. You lift out Richard Nixon, Mr Tricky Dicky himself who even before Watergate lied
...to the American people by promising in his 1968 campaign for US President that he had a secret plan to end the Vietnam War only to escalate the war when he took office allowing another 40,000 Americans to die, over a million Vietnamese and countless others in surrounding countries in Southeast Asia to be killed and uprooted changing these people's lives forever. Richard Nixon was most definitely of that same fascist ilk.

9. Response to Santamargarita's articla entitled Spies and Republican Insurgents Among Us
Santamargarita has hit the nail on the head when he talks
about the Republican party having spies among us. It is
obvious to everyone that the general public has been placed
into a goldfish bowl. Although their spy network central
command is hidden within the governmental bastions of
Washington, it also has solicited and formed a strong
partnership with all levels of corporate America to complete
their circle of deceit and quest for power and wealth.

At times the Republican inner circle has even entered into a
new realm of spying. They even spy on their own spies. In the
event that an American spy chooses to report facts instead of
Bush administration fiction, then that spy will be publicly
exposed and open to possible injury or assassination. I am not
the only one that believes this. Ask Valerie Plame what her
thoughts are on the subject.

14. One correction
Edited on Sun Dec-02-07 01:32 PM by formercia
The people who tried to take over the US Government in 1933 were members of the Democratic party but were closely affiliated with some of the groups who now disguise themselves under the Republican banner.

It's about ideology, not party affiliation.
