http://dispatch.com/live/content/editorials/stories/2007/11/01/Moorman_ART_11-01-07_A10_158B0U5.html?sid=101It seems that Don Wexler has fallen victim to the
liberal media and the
Democrat party, as evidenced by his Oct. 19 letter "Gore, Bush showed their true colors."
To explain his points:
• Al Gore was not elected president by the people; George W. Bush was elected president by the Electoral College. Gore and his minions tried everything they could to turn nonvotes into votes, and
they continue to cry that he was the rightful winner in 2000. Maybe if the residents of Florida knew how to work a punch card, he would be. But they didn't, and he's not.
• Gore was awarded the Noble Peace Prize for convincing people that global warming exists.
The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by five Norwegians who are as liberal as he is. Thirty years ago, the cry was that a great Ice Age was imminent if people did not change their polluting ways.
When that was shown to be a bunch of hooey, scientists came up with global warming. Anything to keep the masses in a state of hysteria.
Much of what Gore claims to be true has been disproven, but do you hear that in the news?
• Bush started a war. How many people have forgotten 9/11? I believe
the United States was attacked, and we responded.Had Bush's predecessor had some guts and dealt with the terror threat when first confronted by it, maybe we wouldn't be in the situation we're in. Instead,
President Clinton was busy with an

Let's see, did wacko Bushbot Moorman miss any current Fox Noise/Limbaugh dittohead talking points?
- liberal media
- "Democrat" party
- Gore didn't win in 2000
- the Nobel Peace Prize is meaningless
- Global warming is a liberal lie
- Scientists are fools
- Gore's climate information is false
- Iraq is revenge for 9/11
- and of course, an oldie but goodie, (ta da) Bill Clinton and Monica!
Looks like little Mikey hit them all. Way to go! (BTW, he is responding to an earlier LTTE pointing out that Gore won the Peace Prize, whereas bush started a foolish, expensive, unnecessary, illegal war.)
FYI, Piketon is a tiny town way down in SW Ohio's "wacko belt" (in Rep. Jean Schmidthead's district, in fact). I'll post any rebuttals his improbably silly letter draws.
