1. No WMDs and no threat: Condi and Colin said so in 2001
He has not developed any significant capability with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power against his neighbors. - Colin Powell, February 24 2001

But in terms of Saddam Hussein being there, let's remember that his country is divided, in effect. He does not control the northern part of his country. We are able to keep arms from him. His military forces have not been rebuilt. - Condi Rice, July 29 2001

2. He demanded raw intel so they could "stovepipe" it.
Cherry pick the raw intel so it could be disseminated to the media without the usual vetting and conformation.

The weapons inspectors couldn't find WMD's because there weren't any.....gee who knew? :sarcasm:

The real shame is that so many Dem congress people went along with this in order to enable/ease their re-election. When you screw up this bad you should be removed from the Democratic party. Really, think about it, who needs these people?

3. No longer can repubs claim that Congress, by voting on the IWR,
had seen and agreed with the same intel - and thus it (going to war for WMDs, when there were no WMDs) was an issue of "bad intel" rather than bad-faith - lying, deceptive leadership from the WH.

5. What a shocker....
I thought after Powell's /not laughable/ presentation to the U.N that their was definitely WMD...
I mean evidence like that cartoon drawing? it doesn't get much more convincing.
or the Essay they copy pasted off the net? unarguable

6. Of course he knew it. That's why he had to order Hans Blix and the
U.N. investigators to leave Iraq so he could start bombing. They were very close to revealing to the world that there were no WMD's. Maybe Bush thought they might find some when they first started their search, when it became apparent that they were not locating anything, the rush to war began in earnest. Many people tend to forget that they were being allowed access to suspect sites and were actually destroying some prohibited weapons they had found when they were forced to leave Iraq.

Check out this link dated less than 1 month before the U.S. invasion of Iraq:
