Famed Scientist Fights Against Evangelical Crusade To Hide Kenya's Pre-Human Fossils...

From fa.org

Famed paleoanthropologist Richard Leakey is giving no quarter to powerful evangelical church leaders who are pressing Kenya's national museum to relegate to a back room its world-famous collection of hominid fossils showing the evolution of humans' early ancestors.

Leakey called the churches' plans "the most outrageous comments I have ever heard."

1. Those evangelical church "leaders"
should be put in the museum as examples of evolutions failure.

So many humans spending their time on earth faking martyrdom.

3. Why should they care?
Really, if the fundamentalist evangelicals have already made up their minds about how the human race came to be, why do they bother going to museums, anyway? They go with closed minds. Will the evangelicals permit scientists to insist on removing portions of the bible, just because they think that they are scientifically impossible? What if the scientists have proof?

I don't care what these people believe, but I very strongly oppose their insistence on forcing their views on the rest of us. Dr. Leakey is right, and I hope he prevails. There are already too many valuable sites which give us clues about the history of humans, and their various cultures, being destroyed due to war and theft, we don't need closed minds destroying the rest.
