Don't let them do it again

As most of you probably know Dianne Feinstein recently published an editorial in USA Today that tells of how she, among others, are pushing for an amendment to protect "flag desecration". (funny how thats a connotation of a religious term *hint hint*) Theres something that caught my attention though. Do you know how many flags have been "desecrated" this year? Three. Is it just me or does it sound as if someone is-once again-trying to take or attention off something bigger thats going on, or about to be brought up? Nah, thats not possible, for or government to go that low, what am I thinking.

Oh and one last note; I might be wrong but, isn't burning the proper way to dispose of an old flag? I dunno just a thought...
