An open letter from your Precedent, George W. Bush
Typed verbatim ac litteratim by Jeffrey Ian Zeitlin

September 13, 2005—It's hard work. Why are so many of those liberal
media going nucular? Just because I was out raising funds for my party after
that hurricane left town? Now don't you see how important fund-raising is
since all of America's opening her big heart to help those folks on the Gulf? If
I had been there right away, you all might not have seen how good America
is. Besides, I was elected to make government smaller. We all know how
important state's rights is, are.

And I did take decisive actions. I said we gotta shoot those looters, not the
white ones just happening to find food floating around in their Walmart, but
those others. Now don't say I don't like black folks. Some of my favorite
Republicans are black. Why there's JC Watts and Lionel Hampton. We gotta
restore law and order and punish those evil-doers.

And stop with those attacks on my friend Brownie. It's just plain wrong. Mike
Brown is doing a fine job with FEMA. He's a good man. He's got tons of
qualifications for the job. First, he was the college roommate of that other
fella he replaced at FEMA. So you got your shared knowledge, your
familyarity. He's a lawyer, and y'all know how good lawyers are at
emergencies. And making fun of him for running that horse show business.
Now don't all you folks in New Orleans wish you had them horses to get you
out of town?

About those cheap shots at Dick Cheney. The man was doing hard work. He
was up at his ranch in Wyoming working out this multi-billion dollar contract
with Halliburton. We gotta get it right if we're gonna build the Gulf back up.
You wouldn't want us just losing nine billion dollars down there like we did in
Iraq, would you?
