Matt Miller (NYT): Start a War, No Money Down!
Maureen Dowd is on book leave until July 6. Matt Miller, a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress

ANNOUNCER: In the old days, war profiteering was a grueling round-the-clock job. You actually had to make something, like planes or guns, and then overcharge the government obscenely. Now, thanks to the Republicans, countless Americans are becoming "war profiteers" in their spare time - and you can, too. Riches once thought to be the exclusive preserve of a few unsavory arms merchants have been made available to thousands of successful Americans, many of whom pull in the cash literally as they sleep!

What's their secret? With "The Republican Guide to Wartime Tax Cuts," you can find out what's in the playbook of Republican professionals. You'll get the war you want without laying out a dime, even as you benefit from huge tax cuts to boot (note: certain income thresholds apply).

And here's the kicker: you can slip the bill for all of this - both the war and your tax cut - to unsuspecting children!

<snip>

WARNING: Support for the Republicans' wartime fiscal policy may include such side effects as 50 million uninsured, crumbling roads and bridges, and swelling inequality. If you are concerned about any of these symptoms, please call Dr. Howard Dean.

I know what you're thinking: "I don't have the self-confidence or social skills to reach for such dreams." But here's the truth: neither did Republicans a few years ago. Yet just this week they came through again. On Wednesday, George Bush signed into law an additional $82 billion for Iraq, which brings the amount America has spent to oust Saddam Hussein and occupy the country close to $300 billion.

4. As a "subscriber to NYTimes" I read the whole thing....Soooo..Dr. Dean
is the answer?

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAA

Hey New York Times you bastion of Whoredom for years...just wait for Howard Dean to save you.

This article written...seems part of the Vast Right Wing Media Conspiracy to me. Careful couched to seem like a frustrated writer but in the end...the blame goes to the Democratic Parties National Chair, Dr. Dean.

Where was the NYTimes on the back of Terry McAuliff...begging him in to save the 2004 Elections from the "Evil Bush Sock Puppet.

Sorry...it's not Howard Dean's job to save the NYTimes from it's own reporting with Miller "stovepiping" Chalibi and whoring for Bush.

Hey, NYT's get off Dr. Dean's back and get back to reporting! For instance there's that little noted "Downing Street Memo" which proves the "F**k Up" you promoted to be P-Resident along with the Five Crows and your lobbyists were ALL WRONG about IRAQ from the "get go."

Before you NYT's WHORE's go after the "Chairman of the Democratic Party" maybe you ought to search your "store room" for how you "pumped the Idiot Chimp" for over four years, trashed a popular sitting President Clinton...and look into your "Attic" for all the other instances where you whored for the Heritage Foundation and the other RW THINK TANKS.

:puke: on you....you have the gall you little "toad" to ask Dr. Dean to come and save your rotten ass. The old "Grey Lady" has lost her "undies" on this one.
