11/14/04 DoD Identifies Marine Casualty (#1183)

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.



Lance Cpl. Wesley J. Canning, 21, of Friendswood, Texas, died Nov. 10 as result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. Canning was assigned to 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

I took down my sign that has been up in my front yard that recorded the number of American soldiers plus a banner size sign of the names of the fallen, changed daily, that have died. I did not think it would make any impression on the BC warmongers who voted for Bush now that he , the war president, is protecting them. They think alongside the propaganda that has been passed on to them. Kick their ass, get their gas.

Snow and winter weather now here and cannot keep it going through this weather anyhow. The last number I had was I027 I think. Now it nears the 2000 mark.

Wasn't it earlier today that they were talking about #1175 and #1176?

This is the kind of stuff that makes me sick to my stomach. How can we keep losing soldiers so fast, yet no one says anything? Even less time is given to the staggering number of innocent Iraqi casualties.
