Kery faults Bush on prosecution of war on terror [for spurning allies]
http://www.wkyt.com/Global/story.asp?S=2500699

MIAMI, Fla. Aides say John Kerry won't directly mention the Osama bin Laden tape at campaign events but it's clear he doesn't intend to shy away from the larger subject of the war on terror.

Last night, at a rally in Miami, the democratic presidential candidate said h would "fight a smarter tougher more strategic war on terror." He says he can make America safer than President Bush has.

Kerry faults Bush for spurning allies, particularly in Europe, in fighting the terror war. Kerry says U-S intelligence capabilities have suffered as a result, and Kerry says intelligence is critical to hunting down bin Laden and his associates.

1. If Kerry takes the advice some certain advisors
who have already proven themselves FOOLS- he could potentially blow this (like he almost did in August & September). There's no reason whatsoever NOT to go for Bush's throat.

I hope this report isn't true.

3. Not exactly
I wouldn't use the tape to point out Bush's failure, that's obvious. But I would certainly point out the fact that Bush is using the tape to play politics and that they said it "was a gift". Kerry should continue to be Presidential and speak to a united front on terrorism, and Bush isn't. That's what I wish they'd do, but they probably won't do that either. *sigh*

4. Bush knew about the tape and slammed Kerry before it was released
Then he slams Kerry for a radio interview before Keryy knew. I don't know how he sleeps at night!

5. America NEEDS to know that we are not safer
The Bushites have worked hard to brainwash people to think they and the world are safer. If someones says they are safer then they have their head in the sand.
