4. Because the polls are flawed
In most polls, Repugs are being over-emphasized based upon decades old voter data.

Also, young voters are not being included.

Nor are new voters.

6. Yes VERY smooth. Almost looks like it is live
Very very good. I think it is stupid that if he is the only one in the ad (okay two news items shown) that he has to say he approved the message. Duh!

7. Very serious situation
I'm afraid it look like a party a little to eager to 'jump' on this for political purposes. It's one of the characteristics of the GOP I loathe.

I'm a 'rabid' Kerry supporter, but, I don't think we want to lose sight of what is important in the 'heat of battle'.

This is tragic (troop deaths), scary (potential for increased terror attacks of greater intensity), and worthy of a full investigation and prosecution of responsible parties. Congress (including Kerry, Biden, et al) ought to be out there calling for special sessions (committees and/or houses) to deal with the situation, most importantly the potential threat to our troops, country, and innocent civilians around the world.

I believe the Admin and their officials in Iraq shortly after the invasion, were so eager to find WMDs and save face, that when not found, they basically threw hundreds of tons of other munitions and explosives aside to be recovered by terrorists, etc.

And, people are dying because of this.

But a senior U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the material was under further study. The site is enormous and U.S. troops are still investigating it for potential weapons of mass destruction, the official said.
"Initial reports are that the material is probably just explosives, but we're still going through the place," the official said.

20. It seems to me our guys are getting blown up daily by bombs
So what is your point? We left an arms dump unguarded and the armaments are now gone and GIs are dying daily. Just because the specialty explosives may not have been there does that mean the other armament was unimportant?

21. You are being very persistant that the GOP spin is right
I wonder why. I wonder why GOPers are ignoring the fact that 380 TONS of explosives are in the hands of rebel Iraqis who want to do our troops harm. I wonder why you and the GOPers are consistantly trying to fog up that issue.

Don't talk about Bush letting the explosives be unguarded says Bush supporters. Just keep throwing out bogus issues while our guys are dieing at the hands of Iraqi rebels. Just keep repeating ARE YOU SURE to the DUers and sidetrack the main fact.

Why are you posting shit out of context? Huh???

Embedded Reporter Saw No Explosives Search

That's the fucking headline of the article you quoted. THERE WAS NO FUCKING SEARCH, GET IT??? They made a pit stop there and did not search, so they had NO CLUE what was there and what wasn't there.

Stop peddling this bullshit, it makes you look like a moron.

"On Monday night, NBC reported that its embedded crew said U.S. troops did discover significant stockpiles of bombs, but no sign of the missing HMX and RDX explosives."

"That raised the possibility that the explosives had disappeared before U.S. soldiers could secure the site in the immediate invasion aftermath."

I'll be glad when the election is over. So much crap on both sides of the fence in this election.

Edited on Tue Oct-26-04 04:46 PM by Beetwasher
The imbedded reporter herself. Get with the program and stop peddling this bullshit.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6323933

An NBC News crew that accompanied U.S. soldiers who seized the Al-Qaqaa base three weeks into the war in Iraq reported that troops discovered significant stockpiles of bombs, but no sign of the missing HMX and RDX explosives.

Reporter Lai Ling Jew, who was embedded with the Army’s 101st Airborne, Second Brigade, said Tuesday on MSNBC TV that the news team stayed at the Al-Qaqaa base for about 24 hours.

‘No move to secure the weapons’
“There wasn’t a search,” she said. “The mission that the brigade had was to get to Baghdad. That was more of a pit stop there for us. And, you know, the searching, I mean certainly some of the soldiers headed off on their own, looked through the bunkers just to look at the vast amount of ordnance lying around.

--snip--

Get it? THERE WASN'T A SEARCH. THIS WAS BULLSHIT FROM THE GET GO.

who are trying to deflect the fact that Bush allowed 380 tons of explosives to get into Iraqi rebel hands.

who else thinks he's so dam good that he did that in one take?

btw - how dumb are election laws if, even with the camera right on him throughout almost the entire commercial he still needs to end with "I'm John Karry and I approved this ad...."
