(ABC-WA POST) Poll - Close Race Nudges Closer (K 48 B 49)
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=193178

Oct. 24, 2004 -- The close presidential race nudged even closer in the latest ABC News tracking poll, with 49 percent of likely voters favoring George W. Bush and 48 percent for John Kerry — a bare point between them with less than a week and a half of campaigning to go.

Much continues to rest on turnout. Young voters are Kerry's best age group by far; he holds a 21-point lead among 18- to 29-year-olds. And more than half of likely voters that age say it'll be their first time voting in a presidential election.

1. This may seem like a crude comment-
I wonder who Hitler would vote for. But somehow, I believe that even Hitler would have the sense to not vote for The Bush administration.

One comment that the public really needs to understand- they are not voting for one man. They are voting for a group. The Bush Group is dangerous, and must be voted into the cornfield.

"The race tightened slightly, from 51-46 percent most of last week and 50-46 percent Friday, because Saturday was Kerry's best single day since this tracking poll began Oct.1. "

That means it was better than after the first debate, right?

3. They only show likely voters in their poll
I bet Kerry is up in actual registered voters polled. Wish we could figure that number out. They also said Saturday was Kerry's best day since October 1st. Hope that means we're seeing a momentum boost.
