Sharon aide's revelation about Gaza plan will embarrass Bush
Ariel Sharon's most senior adviser triggered a political storm in Israel yesterday when he said that the prime minister's much-touted Gaza disengagement plan was aimed at "freezing" the Middle East peace process and "indefinitely" postponing the creation of a Palestinian state.

Mr Weisglass's comments 'laid bare Mr Sharon's intentions'
"The significance of the disengagement plan is the freezing of the peace process," Mr Weisglass said in a interview with the Haaretz newspaper.

"And when you freeze that process, you prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state, and you prevent a discussion on the refugees, the borders and Jerusalem. "Effectively, this whole package called the Palestinian state, with all that it entails, has been removed indefinitely from our agenda.

"And all this with authority and permission. All with a presidential blessing and the ratification of both houses of Congress. The disengagement is actually formaldehyde. It supplies the amount of formaldehyde that is necessary so there will not be a political process with the Palestinians."

1. Nothing can embarrass Bush*
He makes no mistakes. He is a steady leader. If you get embarassed you can't be pResident. It's hard work. There is no place for mixed messages.

9. Talk about "intentions of mass destruction"
This is a case. But of course, our media will report very little about this expose.
