Altered voter forms spark FDLE inquiry (Florida)
Leon County turns over 1,500 voter registration forms that appear to be fraudulent.

By Associated Press
Published October 6, 2004

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating 1,500 voter registration forms received by the Leon County elections office that apparently were altered to register local students as Republicans.

County Elections Supervisor Ion Sancho said it was suspicious enough that the registration forms were all photocopies, but the new voters were also between the ages of 18 and 24, a group that often registers with no party affiliation.

"When we saw that all of these individuals were registered as Republicans, a buzzer went off," Sancho said.

6. Sure, lets convene the current conrgess and.... oh wait.
It's that lack of power thing. We have to do our work on election day so that we have the numbers in congress. Then we must bug the shit out of them.

5. Sigh. And these are just the ones that were caught
Imagine what's going on all over the country.

We really need to toughen up our voting laws everywhere so that little ooopsies like this get serious criminal treatment. I think we need a Right to Vote Constitutional Amendment, for one thing. But in any case, the laws around the states right now just don't support putting a curb on this type of activity -- mostly they offer at best a slap on the wrist. THAT has to stop.

all those things that should be done, but ...

the weasels are already in the henhouse and the hens may not survive to lay another day if Kerry doesn't take the election.
