Bremer to give lecture in Mansfield
What an opportunity!

MANSFIELD -- Ambassador L. Paul Bremer III, who led efforts to rebuild Iraq, will be at the Renaissance Theatre on Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

Bremer will be in Mansfield to present the first Michael G. Oxley Lecture. The Oxley Lecture was established this year by the John M. Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs at Ashland University.

Bremer was named presidential envoy to Iraq on May 6, 2003, and in that capacity he served as the administrator of the Coalition Provisional Authority. On June 28, he handed over power to the interim government of Iraq.

The event will feature an afternoon seminar for high school students from throughout the 4th Congressional District with political science professors from Ashland University and Bremer.

2. LOL
Bremer to give lecture on how to institute a neo-con paradise in an economically crippled third world export nation and in the process destroy all institutions of stability (eg, the Iraqi army), fomenting unrest and throwing the country into civil war! This is something every high school American should learn to do.

4. the John M. Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs at Ashland University.?
Lessee..isn't that the college that also has:

1. The Jerry Fallwell Instute for Religious Tolerance
2. The Dick Cheney Center for Civil Discourse
3. The George W. Bush Chair of Public Speaking
4. The Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, Richard Perle School of Dual Loyalties

I'm sure there are others there at good old Assland U., but that's all I could think of.
