Hurricane Frances weakens slightly
MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- Just weeks after Hurricane Charley tore through Florida, Hurricane Frances aimed for the Sunshine State Saturday morning, packing winds of 105 mph and bringing the potential for up to 20 inches of rain.

Charley was a compact storm with heavy winds that moved quickly across the state.

In contrast, Frances is as big as the state of Texas -- twice the size of Charley -- and is moving slowly over the ocean.

the good news is, it's been downgraded to category 2

1. It's like a wall of water coming ashore
Flooding is the big concern but winds could still pick up in the Gulf Stream.

At least it's been downgraded... but jeeeeeez... that's gonna be a LOT of water. One of my neighbors has their sprinklers on.

4. Two CloudBusters have been aimed at Frances since Wednesday
from the Eastern part of the state. Anyone else in Florida who has one should join this effort! Any little bit of "edge" that can be taken off this storm would be well worth it.
