Pa. Man Pleads Guilty to Weapons Charges (militia wackos)
Pa. Man Pleads Guilty to Weapons Charges
The Associated Press
Tuesday, August 17, 2004; 5:40 PM

ERIE, Pa. - An alleged militia leader who authorities claimed built a bunker on his land and stockpiled weapons for an apocalyptic showdown with federal agents pleaded guilty Tuesday to weapons offenses.

George Bilunka, 59, admitted possessing unregistered firearms - two homemade land mines, a modified rifle and a homemade Sten machine gun. He also acknowledged that he and another alleged militia leader sold a copy of a Sten gun - a British-made World War II 9 mm machine gun - to an undercover federal agent for $300.

...

Prosecutors said Bilunka, of Atlantic, heads a militia called the Christian American Patriots Survivalists. Bilunka believed that in 2009 Jesus Christ would return and usher in the end of the world, they said.

...

Prosecutors claim Sivik, 56, is the leader of the Braveheart Militia and told federal agents it was "time for the ammo box rather than the ballot box." He is recovering at home after quadruple bypass surgery.

....

1. No no no, this man is NOT a TERRORIST
The people protesting the Imperial Family in NYC are the terrorists.

:puke: :puke:

Gawd, what kind of nation will Imperial Amerika be AFTER it's done transitioning and the only thing left from the Old American Republic will be a useless, powerless Imperial Sham Congress (which we almost have NOW)

2. We have terrorists right here

I don't know what to say when John Ashcroft comes on the news and says "We caught a Muslim who we think is a terrorist", but when it's a guy who is most likely a Christian it doesn't even get mentioned in the evening news.

I can guarantee you that if this guy were a Muslim, it would be on the news for days and quite possibly weeks.

4. Damn. A Sten gun for $300?
That's barely more than the tax on a legal one would be. I bet you couldn't buy a legal one for less than $1500, not including the transfer tax.

My mistake, that is his co-defendant, but still leaves me wondering about what was the "real" purpose of this transaction. Sivik bypass is being paid by someone and it looks like the Bureau of Prisons.

I know there are Wackos out there, but I am not sure if his Co-Defendant is one of them. It looks like the Feds only had the defendant dead to rights on selling the unregistered Sten. Either Defendant can transfer his guns to his wife (or other member of his group) and get free medical treatment from the Bureau of Prisons. If he had 60 Guns, why did he not try to sell them instead of a Sten for $300?? If I owned a Sten (legal or Illegal) I be selling it for a lot more than $300 (if I could not, I just sell one or two of the legal guns to get $300).

I suspect Sivik had health problem (and was a wacko). It dawned on him rather than sell his Guns to pay for his operation, he sell an illegal Sten and get arrested and have the Feds pay for his operation (Sounds like Bivak was just a Middle man caught in the Middle of Sivak's Medical Plan). Under Pa Medicaid program you have to have less than $2000 in assets to have Welfare pay for medical operations so his guns were gone if he had Welfare pay for the operations. If he just had the operation done and declared Bankruptcy he could keep more than he was entitled to keep on Welfare, but way less than his bunker of food and guns.

I hate to say this, this sounds like he made an intelligent choice, had the Fed arrest him for a Weapons charge, the Feds pays for his operations. His weapons he gives to third parties and he keeps his bunker and his survivalist supplies. If he did NOT make this choice it was still in his best interest.
