4. April was bloodiest by far

6. That's correct. April was much worse.
July was the bloodiest month since the "punting of sovereignty", however. :(

3. No matter how much $ and negative....
insults against Kerry, he is ahead and the country and world want a regime change. Don't forget, all the millions collected to run a campaign, not just for president but all campaigns throughout the US, all those millions (now billions) go in the pockets of the corporate media and their staff. Those newscasters are not news people, they are selling you their companies bottom line. Political campaings are ads just like selling cars.

Russert and rest of so called news people are not going to fight against their own pockets. Russert gets paid millions to sell political ads for his corporation.

5. No one pays attention to this any more.
People in this country don't care about the dead soldiers. It's old news. Sad, sad commentary on our populace as a whole.

7. I disagree
Most of these soldiers are still "Bush is God" disciples.

I don't know if it is because of highly sophisticated mind control techniques (many of them still think every dead Iraqi is "payback" for 9-11) or just a defense mechanism to deny that they have been sent into harm's way for a dubious cause, but I gave up feeling sorry for these automatons a long time ago.

I admit that since I grew up during the Vietnam War, I have always taken a very dim view of "elective" warfare, but some of these soldiers seem truly too stupid and sadistic to go on living. So maybe death is a sort of release for them, trapped as they are in their hellish, bloodlusting bodies and souls.
