Many wounded in two blasts in Afghan city

KABUL - At least 27 people were wounded, eight seriously, when two explosions rocked the centre of the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad on Wednesday, just days after a bomb attack killed two women election workers there.


A Reuters reporter counted the casualties at the city’s main hospital.

It was not immediately clear if there had been any fatalities in the blasts, which the Pakistan-based Afghan Islamic Press news agency said hit two security posts.

At least three of those wounded were police officers and five were children.

I'm not saying there weren't issues already for many people, but now it is full blown and no hope of saving those who were being repressed. The Taliban are now back in control, for all intents and purposes. The only place they are not is where the purported ruler lives. Reportedly, you can't even hit the outskirts of that town w/o Taliban or other guerilla company threats. :cry:

Iraq will soon be in civil war because this regime never had a plan for their horrible invasion!
