Bush Camp Hits Democrats' 'Coalition of Wild - Eyed'
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush's re-election campaign lumped together vocal outbursts by Democrats Al Gore, Howard Dean and others on Thursday and called them part of John Kerry's ``Coalition of the Wild-Eyed.''

The Bush-Cheney campaign released a video on its Web Site that played up some of the more strident statements Democrats have made on the campaign trail and declared: ``This is not a time for pessimism and rage.''

The implication the Bush campaign appeared to be trying to leave was that some of the main boosters of Kerry's presidential campaign are filled with rage and perhaps a bit kooky.

``Today, our campaign is releasing a web video to 6 million of our supporters to show them what we're up against and what we're up against is John Kerry's 'coalition of the wild-eyed,''' said Bush campaign manager Ken Melhman.

Funniest thing I've ever seen. It's a better Democratic ad than any actual Democratic ad. I would donate money to these idiots if it could be ear-marked toward putting this gem on TV.

Can these idiots be so blind to their image problems that they think airing a comparison of Bush and Hitler will actually help Bush? Half the audience will go, "Huh... I'd never noticed that. Y'know, Bush really is a lot like Hitler."

Who is wild eyed? How about Michael Ledeen unabashed fascist? How about Ambassador Negroponte emissary of death?

How about Ashcroft, talk about wild eyed, the man is exposed as an advocate of torture! Todays picture in the press shows the stress he is under. The man is unbalanced.

This is typical transference by the junta, when the deceptive appearance of regularity is peeled away and reveals the hellish reality below, attempt to project that reality as a delusional image conjured up by adversaries of unsound mind.

What is real and what isn't, who defines it? According to the government apologists for barbarism, they do.

Al Gore didn't give a 'sceaming speech.'

They just excerpted a portion where he raised his voice. Good speakers say parts of long speeches more loudly than others parts.

Also, MovOn didn't produce that ad. It was one of 1500 contest entries.

This coming from the administration that lies in order to drop bombs on the heads of Iraqi's killing thousands of innocent civilians not to mention closing in on 1000 U.S. troops for oil and pie-in-the-sky visions of a democratic, rose-throwing Middle East under Israeli rule. And its the Democrats who are the "wild-eyed" ones huh?

part of the "shrub-boy band of bunglers"

speaking of which - calling Kerry supporters a "coalition of wild-eyes" doesn't sound very honorable, nor dignified nor the optimum way to "unite" people, nor does this type of "negative name calling" appear to be "optimistic" and it certainly doesn't do anything to "change the tone"

memo to bush*: haven't you figured out that after 5 months (give or take a week) of airing mudslinging slime ads about Kerry that the only poll numbers that have dropped are your own?

if you are such a "good" pResident -- where are the ads touting your successes? Don't you have anything "good" to say about yourself?

62. "Coalition of the Wild-Eyed." MAN, is THAT the best they can do for buzz
phrases? PATHETIC! Has ZERO ring to it. But does sound like they tried like hell to come up with something clever and, for all their focus groups and surveys and polls and pulse-takers, they still missed the mark. I mean, "Coalition of the Willing" is pathetic and weak and flaccid enough, already. If this was intended as a play on that wording, they're building a house of cards - on sand. This one is laughable. REALLY weak. For all their financial fire-power, one would think they'd have been able to come up with something a little catchier than this ridiculous drivel.

Bush: Those are some major leage a$$holes.
Cheney: Big Time. They can go Fu@k themselves.
Bush: It's like they think they have a say or something.
Cheney: Yeah, right.

68. Chimp tested that little slogan the other day
He said he was "optimistic" - he said it in that slow halting southern baptist preacher way that he is so fond of. What an asshole.

71. Worried about Fareheight 911 too much!
I think that F911 will be equal to Mels's anti-semetic movie "Passions of Christ". The rethugs have blocked this movie and made it forbidden fruit that every person is dying to see because it's so contoversial.

Also, hello stupid ass fuckwads the American public is not voting for Dean and Gore.

70. Where do I sign up to be a "Wild-eye"?
I really want to be part of this group and would feel privileged if asked to join!
