Recall petition 'repairs' process starts Friday

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- Leaders of President Hugo Chavez's political party demanded Wednesday that an official from the Organization of American States step down as head of an observer mission monitoring a petition process for a presidential recall vote.

3. They accused Allende of wanting a "Cuba style dictatorship" too,
We haven't learned any new tricks in a hundred years.
Allende was at least a pinko, Chavez carrys nobodies card.
It sounds like they (the opposition) are worried that the
"repair process" is going to be embarassing.

4. Can't Make Up My Mind About the Recall
It's certainly another battle in the united effort to remove Chavez by legal or illegal means. He's shown remarkable restraint given the circumstances.

On the other hand, if the recall is in the constitution and 60% of the signatures are legitimate (2.4 needed out of 3.4 submitted), then Chavez needs to let it go ahead. He should not be suckered into becoming a dictator.
