2. I just watched the TV movie "The Pentagon Papers"

Daniel Ellsberg, when he worked at the pentagon, worked for a guy named John McNaughton. He was undersecretary of Defense and, according to Ellsberg, knew the truth about Vietnam and was trying to guide the then pro-war Ellsberg toward the truth. Ellsberg was sent by McNaughton on a fact-finding mission to Vietnam. While Ellsberg was gone, McNaughton died in a freak small plane accident.

I never hear about small plane accidents without at least admitting the possibility of foul play. I thought I'd add McNaughton's "accident" to our large, growing list of potential political murders.

I thought it strange that the CNN reporter mentioned towards the end of the report that the plane had been carrying "financial records." I just thought it odd that they chose to mention that - and left it sort of hanging there at the end.

6. I live about fifteen miles from Willoughby,

and this appears to be just a tragic accident, nothing more.

Sometimes things like that just happen, not everything is a "conspiracy" or a "hit", etc. Lost Nation Airport in Willoughby is a major airport for small engine planes around here, and this certainly isn't the first time something like this has happened and it won't, unfortunately, be the last.

13. Hm. I just got back from flying a 310 to Atlanta. Flames in the back??

that is pretty strange, there's no fuel anywhere near the "back" or
anything else that would be particularly flammable (I have about 4200 hours in 310s)...don't know what to think about this one.
