"Diff'rent Strokes" actor could join the state's recall sitcom
Fear not, you California voters seeking a celebrity fix come Oct. 7. Should the Terminator take a pass on the state's top job, there's still an opportunity to restore some Hollywood grandeur to the governor's mansion:

Gary Coleman.

While Californians await Arnold Schwarzenegger's announcement tonight of whether he's in or out, a coalition of Coleman supporters said they are filing papers this morning in Alameda County to make the diminutive star of the '80s sitcom ``Diff'rent Strokes''the first Hollywood personality on the Oct. 7 ballot.

And why not?

This is after all California, where Ronald Reagan was governor, Sonny Bono was a congressman and Clint Eastwood was a mayor. In these days of topsy-turvy Golden State politics -- 50 more people took out papers Tuesday and the number of potential candidates is fast approaching 400 -- what would a historic recall election be without some star power?

2. SHUT UP!!!!
You have got to be kidding me... lmfao!!!

Is there anything Gary Coleman won't do to get some publicity? For the love of God, Gary, hang it up already.

I mean, who's next... Mickey freaking Rourke? How about Eric freaking Roberts? Maybe Judd freaking Nelson? Or better yet, Ricky freaking Schroeder!

Thanks for the article, kskiska! :-)

4. Just thought I would add this;
it's from The Simpsons:

Guy: How did you get past Gary Coleman?
Bart: Lets just say he's a few prongs short of a Galaxy.
Ms. Nagel: I'm sorry Gary, there's no longer a place for you here.
Gary Coleman: Watchu talkin' bout Ms. Nagel?
Ms. Nagel: That is so adorable! You're re-hired!
Gary Coleman: Sucker! I knew exactly what she was talking about.

:)

17. Not long ago, GC
was working security in a shopping mall, rentacop, when he got in a knock down brawl with a female shopper. She was alot bigger than him, but i think he landed a punch, and she took him to court.

The national enquirer had a story on him a few years ago, where he was said to be living in a heavily fortified cave in Nevada.

Id vote for him.

20. Seriousily, how do they fit all the names on the ballot?
What does the ballot look like? I assume the first question is Yes or No to a recall. And how is that phrased so it is not confusing? Does a Yes mean he stays or goes?

Who would ne the first name after the question? Or is it all write-ins? I am already confused and I'm not even voting.
