Private Indian security agencies send guards to Iraq: BBC

ISLAMABAD: Despite Indian government claims of not sending troops to Iraq some private security companies are sending Indian guards to that country secretary, said a BBC report.

It has been reported that some of the private security companies are sending Indian Guards to Iraq secretly, while the Indian Government has already refused to send its army to that country, the report added.According to the report, the President of Ex-Servicemen Association Brig. (r) Mohenjo Singh has said that about 1500 Ex-Servicemen were present in Iraq.

This issue came to surface when one or two Indians were kidnapped during violence in Iraq, the report said.
