General: Brigade will hunt insurgents (Fallujah)
Fallujah, Iraq - A U-S Marine commander says members of a new Iraqi security force in Fallujah will take their jobs seriously.

Lieutenant General James Conway says the U-S-backed force will try to kill or capture die-hard insurgents who have been battling U-S troops. They're taking over some positions around the city from the Marines.

Conway says most members of the Fallujah Brigade will be former Iraqi army soldiers. He says some of them may have previously fought against the Marines after the U-S siege of the city started nearly a month ago.

~snip~
Conway says, ``Most of these guys may not be squeaky clean, but they're pretty clean.''

Not much there, only left out one sentence.

1. In other words..
``Most of these guys may not be squeaky clean, but they're pretty clean.''

In other words, we know we're making a mistake turning Falluja over to Saddam's ex- army, but we have no other way to exit.

3. the sentence I left out, probably the most important
But he says no one with ``blood on their hands'' will be part of the force -- and that U-S intelligence officers are taking a close look at the members.

After the incident in the prison, can't imagine anyone having faith in these folks checking anyone out.

2. They'll work really hard for us, I'm sure.
Basically, we just gave up all control over Fajullah. We lost. And it's going to happen in more cities.

5. looks like civil war's a brewing to me
each of the factions now have their own brigades. with our people in the middle. when the killing starts, if we can just stand back and after another 100,000 or so dead iraqis everything will be okey-dokey. the american sheeple can just ignore it cause it will not be reported or shown. this is the last season of "Friends", ya know.

6. General Looks Like A Saddam Relative

When I first saw the picture of the Iragi Army General he looked like he could be a cousin or close relative of Saddam.

And this is what we had thousands give their lives for, to hand the country right back to the friends and family of Saddam?!
