Clashes continue on streets of Cairo

Hundreds of protesters have returned to the streets of the Egyptian capital, Cairo, a day after at least eight people were killed when soldiers stormed an anti-military protest camp outside the parliament building.

Renewed fighting erupted between protesters and security forces again on Saturday, as the streets leading to the parliament building and nearby Tahrir Square - the epicentre of the protest movement - began to fill with activists. <snip>

Egypt's prime minister, Kamal el-Ganzouri, addressed the violence in a news conference on Saturday, saying the fighting was an attack on the country's revolution. <snip>

Al Jazeera's Rawya Rageh, reporting from Cairo, said the "overall impression that came out from the prime minister was that he was blaming the protesters".

1. sigh....it's going to be a long time before things sort out there....
I don't even want to think about Libya where I just saw a report that parents are afraid to send their kids to school because of the violence. And, education was the one thing that Ghadaffi seemed to care about.
