Head of a N.H. Tea Party-affiliated group decides to back Michele Bachmann
Source: Boston.com

We need someone who is going to go back in the there and undo what President Obamas done, said (Jerry) DeLemus (chairman of the Granite State Patriots Liberty PAC, one of the states largest Tea-Party affiliated groups), who has been courted by candidates since last spring.

The person for the job is Michele Bachmann, the Rochester, N.H., homebuilder told the Globe yesterday. The PAC, which is an umbrella group for a number of Tea Party affiliated and liberty groups, will make its endorsement next Tuesday.

DeLemus said he likes Bachmanns stance on immigration. He thinks she will successfully turn back President Obamas health insurance law. And he appreciates that she understands the Constitution.

As for the other candidates, DeLemus said Mitt Romney was a non-starter because he has avoided groups like his own like the plague. Jon Huntsman, too, has been inaccessible. Newt Gingrich has been low in his estimation since his support of NAFTA when he was in Congress. Rick Santorum is right on social issues, but he hasnt talked enough about closer adherence to the Constitution. And Ron Paul is appealing in many ways, but DeLemus said he was scared off by his stances on Iran (too lax) and Israel (not strong enough), he said.

Sounds like some teabaggers are staying on the Bachmann train. Will be interesting to see how long she can stay in the primary process with support from some teabaggers.

17. A close friend said much the same leading up to the election in '08. His reasoning for not voting
for Obama was, "I don't like his gun policy." I asked what it was about Obama's gun policy he didn't like and lo and behold he couldn't tell me.

All these idiots screaming about how he has taken their rights and is a dictator...show me the evidence of those statements or shut up. I'm getting damn sick and tired of all that shit. At least when we said it about Bush, he was actually doing what we accused him of.

Oh and on edit: when we were asked for proof of Bush's transgressions we could name them and cite sources.

8. I have been wondering why these people keep whining and saying they have to undo what Obama has done
when the fact is that so far they have managed to make it so that he has hardly been able to do anything because they have managed to stop most of his proposals.
