Hickenlooper says tent city at Occupy Denver can't continue. Protesters say they won't leave
Source: Denver Post

Gov. John Hickenlooper said protesters will not be allowed to stay overnight in the tent city that has grown near the Capitol.

The governor made the announcement at a press conference with Denver Mayor Michael Hancock and Colorado Attorney General John Suthers, who read out the law that forbids overnight camping.

The three alluded that police action was imminent but provided no details.

4. In an age of artificial intelligence that turns iPhones into personal assistants...
How can editors continuously miss misspellings like this one?

"They are the local manifestations the weeks-old national movement claiming to stand again corporate greed, social inequality and a government for the wealthy by the wealthy."

6. Anyone saying this violation of the 1st amendment
is wrong SCOTUS has consistantly said that time and place restrictions are legal. The saying about getting more flies with honey is apt here, most people won't see as unreasonbale to not be allowed to camp out in a park overnight. Even if they agree with protester cause, getting into confrotation with police over this could be major turn off to some people.

10. Well, you can accept Thomas and Scalia as legit justices, but they are
criminals.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

There's the text.

12. This was established long before those two
moreover I'm guessing you're not against distance restriction on funeral protest that keep groups like Westboro at bay. I would also guess that don't interpret the second amendment in such a literal manner in sum court precedents do matter.

13. More Shame For Hick
turns out, he owns 225 acres of land in Parker and needed a tax loophole to bring down the property tax. First our gov thought about listing himself as a "wood producer", but alas the loophole for wood producer didn't cut it, so gov. Hick, like other millionaires in CO who own land or gentlemen ranches - rented a goat. Rent-a-goat will get you AG status. Gov. Hick only paid only $75.00 in taxes on all that land.
