BART parking refunds due some customers (from private contractor)

The company that runs BART's paid parking operation will refund about $202,000 to roughly 16,000 customers who were wrongly charged for airport/long-term parking on weekends, the transit agency said Wednesday.

Pacific Parking Management/Parking Carma incorrectly charged 16,054 customers over more than two years for long-term parking at BART stations on Saturdays and Sundays when they should have received free parking.
