Problem with the ornithology article

I know it is bashing bush, and it is funny, but in the
habitat section it says that "punctuated equalibrium " is a sudden step backwards to a lower life form. thats totally wrong. punctuated equalibrium is a sudden burst forward in evolution
just thought I would mention it.
