Plane crashes during air show in W. Va.
Source: ABC7

A plane crashed during an air show in Martinsburg, W. Va. No injuries in the crowd are being reported.

A T-28 aircraft crashed at about 2:30 p.m. during an acrobatic demonstration at the 2011 Thunder Over the Blue Ridge Open House & Air Show at the 167th Airlift Wing in Martinsburg.

No other information was immediately available.

Now we can expect a flood of "aircraft accident" stores from the media for the next few days. It happens every time an accident happens with airplanes, or trains, or buses. The most minor incidents will be breathlessly reported. Then it'll die down until the next "incident."

He thinks the pilot likely was killed but the plane did not go into the crowd and he is not aware of any injuries to spectators.
