Iraq Sunni group says supports Shi'ite cleric Sadr
http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/L17643117.htm

DUBAI, April 17 (Reuters) - A Sunni Muslim association in Iraq said on Saturday it supported the Shi'ite cleric wanted by U.S.-led forces, and called on all Iraqis to evict the occupying troops.

Mohamed Ayash al-Kubaisi, representative of the Muslim Clerics Association abroad, told Arab television Al Arabiya all Iraqis resisting the U.S.-led occupation were working towards the same goal, including radical Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr.

"We support him (Sadr) and he supports us in this resistance. We are in one boat and are responsible for protecting this boat," Kubaisi said, adding his group has issued fatwas, or religious edicts, for ending the occupation.

"Iraqis are aware that it's not in our interests to compete for sectarian gains. The Shi'ite resistance...strengthens our will as we are both fighting the same enemy."

1. We predicted that this would happen,...they are all in the same boat
NOW and prepared to join and fight a common enemy. Although we successfully anticipated that this would happen,....sometimes "being right" really feels awful.

2. And all the car bombs that Chalabi's boys set off didn't help one bit
They tried like hell to start a civil war between these two groups but the Iraqis were too smart to fall for their shit.

4. Yes
You voiced what I had been suspecting when that early postwar chaos was going down, anonymous and seemingly random.
