Party leaders plan to meet at noon Thursday to discuss the matter.

1. The last thing Weiner needs is for other people to take his clothes off...

only about a 10 inch difference between a halo and a noose.

5. I guess the NY voter is just not going to get a say in who their elected
representatives are going to be. This gets worser and worser.

6. Disgraceful. They can no longer claim he is a distraction
when they are driving the press coverage.

7. Meanwhile Andrew Brainfart just sits there and chortles
Watching the wussy Democrats do his dirty work for him.

Couldn't have worked much better if it was planned that way. Maybe there's more to this than meets the eye.

16. No, he is not. Unless you think the people don't count.
Polls have been overwhelingly on his side. Maybe it is the cowardly Dem leadership who are wearing out their welcome. People are pretty sick and tired of them rolling over, time and time again for far right wacko fundies like Breitbart and his funders.

IF they force out a Congressman whose constituents want him to stay, from what I hear from my friends in NY, people, already not too thrilled with Congress (Weiner is way, way more popular than they are) will remember that in 2012. That's how it goes, you ignore the people, they will ignore you, as happened in 2010. They need to go do something important, and stop wasting time on trying to out do the Family Values Party on issues that are none of their business.

18. He was invited for two years. Seven times? Eight?
I'm gonna guess that the man who thinks an elected representative is merely a "guest" is NOT from Weiner's district. When you have blue numbers tattooed on your arm, or your parents do, you don't freak out at dick shots. That's for petty-minded untried souls who don't know the meaning of real troubles. Or real crimes.

19. He has violated the rules of the House and is hurting the Democratic Party
If he doesn't do the right thing and go, his fellow Democrats may have to make him feel unwelcome.
There is no need Godwin this issue.

21. Which rules of the House has he broken? And, if the Democratic Party survived Clinton's perjury,
blow jobs in the Oval Office while talking with a head of state and lawsuit for sexual harassment, it can certainly survive this.

Whatever damage Weiner supposedly did to the Party is being magnified by the way Democrats are handling this.

And yet, any person of average common sense would know that if Cantor says it, it's horseshit.

20. Democrats never stripped Lieberman of his prized Homeland Security chair, even
though he was an Independent, not a Democrat, and he had campaigned for McCain. Then again, all Lieberman did was threaten to faux filibuster the public option, while tweeting is SERIES!!1111!!!

What the fuck has happened to Democrats and their priorities?
